Mark and his trusty ears
I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer living outside Boston. I received my BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2008, where I studied under award winning and generally fantastic illustrators such as Brian Ralph, Daniel Krall, Whitney Sherman, and Jose Villarrubia.
I’ve designed in a variety of settings, including a small graphic design firm, a publishing company, and a fairly massive insurance company.
My illustration has been featured in newspapers, major promotional mailings, a pretty trendy music venue, and some super cool blogs. In 2008, Stephen Colbert called my work “really funny.” He especially liked “the scared Captain America.”
I currently work as a Junior Graphic Designer for Vistaprint, an international printing and marketing company. Additionally, I am available for freelance illustration.
I have sung before immense crowds as both Huey Lewis and Freddie Mercury.
