Recommendations

Recommendations? What? I thought this was a portfolio site, by gum!

It is a portfolio site, I promise. However, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to being a huge geek. I love elegant hardware, intuitive software, and innovative web services – and more than I love all those things, I love sharing them with friends. Everything I recommend on this page is something I use myself and consider to be completely indispensable. While I do get a referral bonus from some of these links, by no means would I recommend something here if I didn’t stand behind it 100% and use it every day. If this model of occasional referral links offends you, please let me know.

Dropbox is a fantastic free service that keeps you and your most important files together wherever you may go. Dropbox continuously synchronizes a designated folder across all your devices. It does this via its speedy online service, connecting your Mac, PC, and iPhone seamlessly. For up to 2GB of synchronized storage, it’s completely free! If 2GB just isn’t enough, they offer paid plans with up to 100GB!

For a better understanding of Dropbox, check out this great tour from their website.

To sign up and get an additional 250MB of free storage, click on this referral link. You’ll bag me a little extra free storage as well, so it works out for all of us.
